Tip #3 Laugh

Laughter has been prove to have a myriad of health benefits. Increased blood flow and decreased levels of stress are two of a whole list of benefits. But read this....it also is proven to be helpful in relationships!

"Humor helps people connect with one another. Using a joke as an icebreaker is an age-old social technique. When a group of people share and experience humor, they tend to talk more, to have more eye contact, and to touch more often.

Laughing together breaks the tension and helps people see the lighter side of things. Marriages, families, friendships, and working relationships all benefit when humor and laughter are prevalent."

So find the humor in life, share a good joke and have a LAUGH!

Tip #2 Don't Yell

Tips for staying married for 50+ years!

Tip #2: Don't yell. That's simple - but easier said than done! Keep communication in a reasonable, calm voice. Yelling raises tempers, increases adrenalin and causes us to say things we normally wouldn't say and do things we normally wouldn't do.

Weird!

I found this saying today while helping a customer create a bookmark as a favor for her 50th wedding anniversary. I decided it was so true I had to share it...

"We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love."

Something Worth Reading

So... I've decided that I need to share something worth reading once in a while that doesn't involve anything you buy, sell, or visit, doesn't require any money, and will make more of a difference than any 'thing'. If you have any thoughts like this, share them with me and we'll improve our lives and relationships together.

Since I love to do Anniversary Invitations I decided to think a bit on how some people manage to make it to a 50th Wedding Anniversary. I'm going to try to come up with 50 tip on how to make it to your 50th Wedding Anniversary. Following these tips won't guarantee you will make it...but they should help!

Tip #1: 'Love loving more that you love being right'

Here are a couple of fun and interesting facts about 1959 - 50 years ago...
